The Sales Engineering Manager will serve as a player-coach, managing a global team of Sales Engineers while also acting as a high-impact resource, delivering consulting, best-practice guidance, and strategic insights to our largest prospects and customers. Additionally, this role will develop tools and methods that our mid-size and smaller clients can leverage to drive revenue growth and achieve industry leadership.
As the leader of the Sales Engineering team, you will be responsible for upskilling all team members, creating shadowing opportunities for junior staff to learn from senior team members, and providing continuous performance and skills development feedback. You will also drive the evolution of how Sales Engineers support the GTM team throughout the sales process.
This role requires deep product and process knowledge and extensive cross-functional collaboration to ensure internal solutions for optimal support and presentation technology. You will lead efficient client transitions from sales to implementation to accelerate time to revenue. Partnering closely with the product team, you’ll align product development and GTM strategies with client needs and industry trends, maintaining a continuous feedback loop to inform ongoing product improvements.
Leveraging your extensive industry experience, you’ll ensure the team understands customer requirements, identifies program gaps and optimization areas, and delivers a comprehensive suite of services and end-to-end solutions that provide differentiated client value.
