Overview

HireRight is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager for our Technology Infrastructure area to join our team reporting into our Technology Program Management Office (TPMO). This role will be responsible for the planning, coordinating, and execution of the initiatives running through the Infrastructure Portfolio of Projects and help escalate impediments, manage risk, and help drive program-level continuous improvement. This role will work closely with HireRight’s Infrastructure teams to include Engineering, Networking, Database Administration, Information Security and Cloud teams. Specifically, this role will focus on managing initiatives for our Data Center Migrations, Cloud Migrations and other Cloud-enablement projects. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans for data center migrations and cloud infrastructure initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables; maintain regular communication throughout project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to allocate resources effectively, ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance on data center migration strategies, cloud architecture, and infrastructure best practices.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers involved in data center and cloud migration projects.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions during data center migrations and cloud environment implementations.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of project processes, architecture, and lessons learned for future reference.
  • Ensure all projects comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and security protocols.
  • Work with on-site and remote technology teams and business stakeholders located in the US, Europe, India and Asia-Pacific regions
  • Facilitate the delivery of initiatives and projects using Agile principles as well as other methodologies
  • Provides proactive visibility and effectively communicates delivery targets, commitments, and progress of the Program Increment for teams
  • Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encourage experimentation, and facilitate a learning environment within the organization

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Proven experience managing IT infrastructure projects, specifically data center migrations and cloud implementations (minimum 3-5 years).
  • Strong understanding of data center operations, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and virtualization technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address project challenges effectively.
  • Proven and successful experience in a project management role
  • Deep understanding of Agile principles, values, and methodologies, with expertise in Scrum and Kanban
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Good knowledge of tools such as Jira, Version One, MS Project, Confluence, Rally or Grasshopper
  • Must be able to work overlapping hours between teams based in US, Europe, and India
