Overview

HireRight is seeking a highly skilled, technical and experienced Sr. Delivery Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for the overall Portfolio of projects for our Enterprise Data Management organization from project intake through execution and delivery working with key stakeholders across the entire organization to include, but not limited to, executive leadership, finance, operations, sales, account management, product management, infrastructure, and software development. This role will report into the Sr. Director of Program Management as part of the Technology Program Management Organization (PMO).

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the intake, prioritization and governance of the overall project portfolio for the Enterprise Data Management organization
  • Oversee the end-to-end project management lifecycle and execution of enterprise data and analytics projects
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
  • Track progress, manage risks, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards
  • Act as the liaison between technical teams (e.g., data engineers, Power BI developers) and business stakeholders across the organization, both domestic and international
  • Facilitate and ensure there is clear communication of technical requirements and business objectives
  • Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language when working with business stakeholders
  • Use a collaborative approach with business and technical staff to ensure solutions are well-rounded and address both technical and business needs
  • Develop and refine processes to better align data solutions with organizational objectives
  • Ensure best practices per the company’s data governance, quality, and security standards are met in all projects
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams
  • Drive accountability and foster collaboration among team members
  • Resolve conflicts and escalate issues as necessary
  • Work with stakeholders and SMEs in Sales, Account Management, Customer Onboarding, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and Compliance
  • Work with technical team members primarily within the Enterprise Data Management organization but also with team members within Infrastructure, DBAs, software engineering and architecture
  • Facilitate the delivery of projects using Agile principles and methodologies where necessary
  • Helping to plan and execute on launch activities for go to market and operational readiness based on change management for identified projects
  • Able to effectively communicate with stakeholders located in the U.S. and Europe, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive improvement
  • Scheduling and facilitating project discovery, requirements gathering, peer reviews, stakeholder reviews, legal and compliance signoffs, project statuses and other meetings

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management and delivery experience in enterprise data or analytics environments
  • Experience with business intelligence, data engineering, data transformation and data workflows
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale data or analytics projects on time and within scope
  • Understanding of SDLC especially Development, QA, UAT and release schedules
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to influence and inspire others
  • Ability to work with cross functional technical and cross functional business teams
  • Ability to identify, document and communicate blockers
  • Someone who drives accountability among team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly and often
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships across technical and business teams
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement across multiple business units
  • Analytical mindset to assess project impacts and prioritize tasks effectively

 

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of enterprise data management concepts to include Data pipelines, ETL processes, and integrations
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and database design (e.g., SQL, Snowflake, or similar)
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Version One, MS Project, Confluence, Rally or Grasshopper.

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification (preferred)
  • Agile certifications like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Agilist (preferred)
  • Data-related certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Power BI Data Analyst) (optional but advantageous)
