Overview

The Oracle Cloud EPM Administrator is responsible for the management, support, and optimization of Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications. In this newly-created role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the FP&A, accounting, HR, and sales teams to administer and drive process improvements and automation around the Oracle Cloud EPM platform.This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Oracle EPM Cloud applications (ARCS, FCCS, EPRCS, etc.)
  • Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot the EPM Cloud environment to ensure high availability and performancewhile adhering to best practices and industry standards.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, implement solutions, and provide ongoing support for Oracle EPM Cloud applicationsto ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead and implement process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance system functionalityby leveraging advanced features and tools.
  • Collaborate with globally distributed teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business needs, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of new featureswhile maintaining clear communication across time zones.
  • Provide technical expertise and support in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle EPM Cloud modulesto ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
  • Manage system updates, patches, and releases to ensure the platform is up-to-date with the latest features and security updateswhile minimizing downtime and disruptions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, troubleshooting guides, and process improvementsto facilitate knowledge sharing and training.
  • Support end users by providing training and responding to queries related to Oracle EPM Cloud functionality and performanceto enhance user proficiency and satisfaction.
  • Lead change management efforts for the rollout of new features and updates, including developing training materials, conducting user training sessions, and empowering users to become self-sufficient in using the Oracle EPM Cloud platform.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in system integration testingto ensure successful implementation of new features and updates.
  • Conduct regular audits and system health checks to proactively address any issues and ensure data integritywhile identifying opportunities for further optimization.
  • Implement business rules, calculations, and data integrations within Oracle EPM to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Develop custom reports and dashboards for financial analysis using Oracle reporting tools.
  • Ensure seamless integration of financial data from various systems into the EPM platform.
  • Validate data accuracy and integrity through reconciliation processes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience administering Oracle EPM Cloud applicationswith a proven ability to manage complex environments.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvement and automation initiativesthat resulted in measurable efficiency gains.
  • Experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Oracle EPM Cloud moduleswith a deep understanding of system architecture.
  • Strong understanding of EPM Cloud platform performance optimization and best practicesto ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders, understanding their business needs, and translating those into technical solutionswhile maintaining strong relationships.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams, ensuring timely delivery of solutions across time zoneswith excellent collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersto facilitate understanding and buy-in.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issuesto ensure continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to document complex requirements and break them down into incremental value-addsto ensure clarity and actionable steps.
  • Proficiency in data integration tools and Structured Query Language (SQL).

 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Certification in Oracle EPM Cloud (e.g., Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service, Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service)to demonstrate expertise and commitment to professional development.
  • Experience with Oracle integration tools, data management, and scripting (e.g., Groovy, RESTful APIs)to enhance system functionality and integration.
  • Involvement in 2+ implementations of Oracle Cloud EPMto showcase hands-on experience and successful project delivery.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, UKG, iCIMS, and D365 F&Oto ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems.
  • Relevant knowledge or experience in ETL/Data Transformation tools and databases.
  • Relevant knowledge on Oracle EPM tools that enable compliance checks and processes (Audit Logs, SOX, etc.).
