Sr Manager Financial Reporting

The Sr Manager Financial Reporting will be responsible for the coordination and preparation of the Company's external financial statements, including the quarterly financial statements for lender reporting and the annual audited financial statements.  The scope of the external reporting responsibilities includes the consolidated financial statements, footnotes, MD&A and other disclosures, as well as local statutory audits and reporting.  The Sr Manager Financial Reporting will be responsible for the monthly detailed review of the Cash Flow Statement and the Equity Rollforward.  The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm and 3-5 years of experience in a financial reporting role in industry. The position reports to the VP Controller and offers visibility and collaboration with senior management.

• Coordinate the preparation of the Company's external financial reporting within required filing deadlines.
• Maintain formal calendar/timeline of events associated with all external filings including the completion of internal reviews and external audits.
• Perform detailed review of supporting documentation and technical guidance for the monthly Cash Flow Statement and the monthly Equity Rollforward.
• Direct the flow and quality of supporting documentation from various parts of the Company to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Reviews tie-outs to supporting documentation, information validation and quality control cross checks.
• Maintain and enhance compliance with internal controls.
• Assess new and proposed accounting standards and/or disclosures issued by the FASB for impact to the Company and then document the Company’s position.
• Assist with training global accounting teams as needed on technical accounting issues and new accounting pronouncements.
• Maintain an awareness of Company products, services, and the related regulatory environment to effectively manage and comply with all regulatory reporting requirements and disclosures.

• 3+ years public accounting experience highly preferred and 3-5 years of private industry experience in a Financial Reporting role is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred.
• Experience with Workiva highly preferred.
• Experience researching and documenting appropriate disclosures and presentation.
