Overview

The Vendor Management Specialist is the liaison between HireRight and its suppliers with primary responsibility for supporting and interfacing with the vendor network by managing their outstanding searches.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Obtaining and updating status information on searches over 48 hours old if attempts to expedite the return of the search are unsuccessful (late list).
  • Coo
  • rdinating with Support Service Representatives to ensure prompt resolution of client concerns which includes but not limited to status checks and rechecks.
  • Handling initial contacts with vendors when technical problems are discovered (Web court, CasePro, fax server, email, User ID's and PW)
  • Manages Vendor Inbox to address inquiries and escalations from ground researchers or vendors
  • Liaison for all communication with criminal vendor network and HireRight staff
  • Responsible for correctly navigating web sites that facilitate completion of assigned tasks (NINJA, BRB, State Statutes, etc).
  • Contact Support Services to obtain additional information as requested by Vendors in order to complete searches (missing identifiers, case numbers, etc.).

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience:

  • Basic knowledge FCRA guidelines helpful
  • 1-2 years of call center experience such as Customer service, collections or working with a multi-line phone system
  • 1-2 years of vendor, supplier and B2B experience or account maintenance experience a plus
  • Internet research and phone skillls
  • Familiarity with MS Office such as Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Excellent multi-tasking and problem solving skills
  • Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Quick Learner
  • Ability to work as a team player as well as independently
  • Works well with internal and external stakeholders
