Overview

The Director, Treasury will play a critical leadership role within the global Finance team, responsible for the company’s treasury operations, optimizing capital structure, managing global cash and liquidity, and supporting M&A and other strategic initiatives. This role requires a highly analytical, proactive, and business-oriented finance individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment.

 

This role reports to the VP FP&A and Assistant Treasurer and is located in our downtown Nashville location (hybrid - 3 days in office).

Responsibilities

Treasury Operations

  • Lead global cash management and forecasting processes to ensure adequate liquidity across all regions and entities.
  • Optimize working capital through efficient cash pooling, intercompany lending, and liquidity structures.
  • Manage bank relationships and ensure the right mix of global and local banking partners.

Capital Structure & Financing

  • Advise the CFO and, if necessary, PE sponsors on capital structure strategy, including debt financing, covenant compliance, and refinancing activities.
  • Oversee compliance with loan agreements and manage relationships with lenders and rating agencies.

Risk Management

  • Develop and manage strategies to mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange, interest rate exposure, and counterparty credit risk, including interest rate hedging
  • Implement and maintain appropriate hedging strategies where necessary.
  • Direct experience with Directors & Officers (D&O) and Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance.

Strategic Initiatives

  • Provide treasury support for M&A activity, including due diligence, deal structuring and integration planning.
  • Support CFO in Board reporting and scenario planning.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Build a high-performing treasury team, fostering continuous improvement and best in class processes.
  • Collaborate closely with FP&A, Tax, Accounting, and Legal across regions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, including international treasury management.
  • Experience of private equity.
  • Demonstrated experience managing global cash, debt and FX exposure
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder planning skills.
