Overview

This position will be the on-site IT representative at our Nashville offices. The role will require building/reimaging machines, deploying software, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, virtual machines, and printers. The position will also be required to be the hands-on assist for network and server troubleshooting and installation and collaborate with cross-functional teams and other technical staff to resolve IT system incidents and changes and to support implementation of new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Primary user administration – Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365 (Focus on Outlook and Teams) Intune and Entra.
  • Primary user administration – Access management, Duo and OKTA MFA administration.
  • Primary for file and print share administration.
  • Primary for local cell phone issues and provisioning.
  • Assist Network team with troubleshooting and quarterly upgrades.
  • Ability to function as a backup White Glove Support for our executives.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and monitoring internal and external customer application issues.
  • Assist with sourcing and maintaining hardware- asset tracking, hardware provisioning, forming, and maintaining vendor relationships

 

Scope of Impact: May assist in orienting, training, and checking the work of more junior employees. Has personal responsibility for complex administrative and/or technical support. Has latitude to decide the order in which they are to be done.

Strategic Planning: Follows prescribed standard practices that are readily understood. Decisions require some judgment in applying rules and procedures but remain within limits of standard practice. May gather information to help arrive at an appropriate solution.

Customer Focus: Understands the importance of the customer and the influence of own role in delivering customer satisfaction; Understands customer needs. Must listen to and accurately communicate with customers in an effective and tactful way. Provides prompt, reliable, and responsive service to all customers.

Qualifications

Education: 

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science and/or equivalent experience preferred
  • ITIL Foundations and Microsoft certifications preferred

 

Experience

  • 5-7 years working in service desk environment with a focus on internal Desktop Support.

Knowledge & Skill: 

  • Mid to Senior level more complex support and administrative functions.
  • Applies generally straightforward industry best practices or procedures.
  • Requires good knowledge, experience, and skill of standardized rules, procedures, or operations on a variety of activities requiring training and experience.
  • Is expected to work through typical or moderately complex problems but may require occasional guidance or direction.
  • May require specialized skills in administrative or technical fields.
  • Intermediate network troubleshooting skills.
  • Good understanding of Active Directory roles, structure, and function.
  • Experience using a software deployment platform such as InTune is a plus.
  • Virtualization Environment experience (W365 preferred).
  • Experience with Jira ticketing system
