Overview

The Project Coordinator will ensure that all onboarding activities are executed in alignment with HireRight's legal, contractual, and compliance requirements. Acting as a central point of coordination, the Project Coordinator will proactively identify and resolve obstacles that could delay implementation, ensuring customers are fully operational and satisfied by their targeted launch date.

This position requires close collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders, including Sales, Sales Engineering, Sales Analysts, Account Setup, Credentialing, Account Management, Product, Development, Legal, and Compliance teams, to deliver a seamless and compliant onboarding experience.

 

This is a hybrid role - Tulsa, OK

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordinator: Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive onboarding plans tailored to new customer needs, ensuring alignment with internal timelines and client expectations.
  • Client Communication & Ownership: Serve as the proactive liaison for clients, taking full ownership of onboarding projects, responding to inquiries promptly, and anticipating client needs.
  • Solution-Oriented Support: Deliver effective solutions from both process and product standpoints, guiding customers through complex scenarios and ensuring successful adoption.
  • Autonomous Execution: Manage tasks and milestones independently, demonstrating accountability and a high level of organization throughout each phase of the project.
  • Leadership & Influence: Lead client and internal meetings with a structured, confident approach to drive clarity, alignment, and progress.
  • Goal Achievement: Ensure successful completion of onboarding projects by the targeted Go Live date, navigating challenges and risks with agility.
  • Organizational Contribution: Contribute to continuous improvement and team success through individual expertise, initiative, and a hands-on, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

Experience Highlights:

  • Proven client-facing experience, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively manage client expectations throughout project lifecycles.
  • Strong product knowledge, with the ability to translate complex system functionality into client-friendly solutions and guidance.
  • Relevant industry experience (preferred), enabling deeper understanding of client environments, use cases, and onboarding best practices.
  • Experience or knowledge in the transportation industry preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, tailored to professional business settings—capable of articulating technical concepts clearly and persuasively across stakeholders.
