Overview

The “Strategic Account Partner” is a sales-driven role embedded within the Account Management team, focused on driving commercial expansion within existing clients. This position acts as a hunter inside the installed base, identifying, developing, and closing expansion opportunities within existing accounts, including upsell, cross-sell, and geographic expansion.

 

The SAP owns the execution of individual expansion deals, from opportunity identification through commercial engagement and contract closure, directly contributing to revenue growth and increased product penetration.

 

SAP will partner closely with Account Management team to enter existing accounts and lead commercial conversations related to new services, expansions, or additional geographies.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Drive upsell, cross-sell, and multi-country expansion initiatives.
  • Partner with Account Managers to build and execute account growth strategies.
  • Proactively uncover new business units, use cases, and stakeholders within current clients.
  • Lead the commercial sales cycle for expansion opportunities, from discovery to close.
  • Collaborate with product specialists to position additional solutions.
  • Contribute directly to revenue growth, product adoption, and account penetration.
  • Maintain strong pipeline discipline within the existing client base.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales mindset with experience growing existing accounts.
  • Proven ability to identify and close expansion opportunities.
  • Comfortable operating in complex enterprise environments.
  • Highly collaborative, working closely with AMs while owning commercial execution.
  • Results-oriented with commission-driven motivation.
  • Proven hunter mindset with track record of closing enterprise deals and adding new logos.
  • Experience selling complex B2B solutions to large organizations.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with regional data privacy regulations preferred.

 

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Law, Human Resources preferred).
  • Languages: Native Spanish speaker, fluent in English; Portuguese is preferred.
  • Experience: minimum of 10 years in a similar role required
  • Tech Skills: Experience with CRMs (Salesforce), and revenue management platforms.
