Operations Excellence Analyst

We are looking for an Operational Excellence Analyst who wants to improve how Operations, Product, and Technology work together.

This role is for someone who can understand operational challenges, document them clearly, and coordinate with the appropriate teams to move them toward resolution. You will help manage technology and product issues, support testing, track actions, and confirm that implemented changes deliver the expected results.

What you will do

• Serve as a bridge between Operations and Product/Technology.
• Identify operational issues and gather relevant examples, data, and business impact.
• Translate business problems into clear requirements and expected outcomes.
• Create detailed Jira tickets describing the current behavior, expected behavior, business impact, and supporting evidence.
• Maintain the inventory of open tickets and track owners, priorities, blockers, dependencies, target dates, and status.
• Follow up with responsible teams and highlight stalled or high-impact issues for escalation.
• Develop test scenarios and perform user acceptance testing for fixes, enhancements, automation, and new rollouts.
• Document test results, defects, risks, and recommendations.
• Validate production releases and confirm that implemented changes deliver the expected operational outcome.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, recurring issues, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Work with subject-matter experts to validate requirements and proposed solutions.
• Prepare regular reports covering ticket status, blockers, actions, and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate requirements, testing evidence, and process documentation.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in operations, business analysis, user acceptance testing, ticket management, process improvement, product operations, or technology support.
• Experience collaborating with Operations, Product, Technology, or other cross-functional teams.
• Ability to understand operational problems and translate them into clear business requirements.
• Experience creating and tracking Jira tickets or using a comparable ticket-management platform.
• Experience preparing test scenarios and conducting user acceptance testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow actions through completion.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to take ownership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and related business tools.
• Experience in background screening, automation, or AI-enabled workflows is preferred.
