Overview

HireRight is seeking a strategic and operationally excellent Vice President,  Global Human Resources to serve as a key partner to the CHRO and a critical member of the senior HR leadership team. This individual will provide unified leadership across the HR function, translating enterprise strategy into a cohesive people agenda and ensuring the organization's programs, teams, and services work together in service of HireRight's business objectives. 

The VP, Global Human Resources will oversee the functional areas of Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Management, HR Services, and the HR Business Partner (HRBP) organization, and act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, a coach and manager to functional HR leaders, and a steward of HireRight's culture, talent, and total employee experience.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership 

  • Partner with the CHRO to develop and execute HireRight's enterprise HR strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, growth plans, and organizational priorities. 
  • Serve as a member of the extended HR leadership team, contributing to enterprise workforce planning, org design, and long-range talent strategy. 
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior business leaders on organizational effectiveness, talent risk, and change management. 
  • Represent HR in cross-functional executive forums, deputizing the CHRO as needed. 
  • Build the operating rhythm, governance, and metrics that connect the five HR pillars into one integrated function. 

 

HR Functional Oversight 

  • Provide strategic direction and executive-level oversight across the HR organization's core programs and services, ensuring each operates effectively and in step with the others. 
  • Set priorities and standards for how HR delivers value to the business — from how the organization attracts and retains talent, to how it rewards, develops, and supports its people, to how HR itself operates and engages with the business day to day. 
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and business alignment across all people programs, adapting approach as the organization's needs evolve. 
  • Identify opportunities to modernize, simplify, or scale HR programs and infrastructure in support of business growth. 

People Leadership 

  • Directly manage and develop functional leaders across TA, Total Rewards, Talent Management, HR Services, and HRBPs. 
  • Build bench strength and succession depth within the HR organization itself. 
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and accountable culture within the HR team. 

Qualifications

  • 12-15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 5 years leading multiple HR functions 
  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in Human Resources 
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with C-suite or senior executive leadership on enterprise people strategy. 
  • Proven track record leading and developing HR leaders and multi-disciplinary teams. 
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect HR strategy to financial and operational outcomes. 
  • Experience leading global or multi-region HR teams 
  • Experience operating in a private equity–backed, high-growth, or technology-enabled companies  
  • Experience with M&A integration, organizational restructuring, or rapid-growth environments. 
  • Familiarity with HRIS/HCM platforms (e.g., Workday, UKG) and people analytics.
